Dear Friends,
As we enter the last quarter of CY 2021, things seem to be finally settling down globally- on the Covid as well as on the economic front. Domestically the news is great. With more and more unlocks, and governments trying to provide the necessary push to the economy, normalcy of businesses and life doesn’t seem too far. At this juncture, we feel thankful for being able to sustain the tough times and closing the previous quarters on happy notes.
This last quarter had many success stories that I would like to share with you.
First and foremost, I would like to congratulate our delivery team at Rwanda for achieving the crucial second delivery milestone quite smoothly. It is no small feat to achieve this despite the challenges thrown by business and health environment. It also pleases me to see that almost all our team working with various clients have been continually receiving appreciations and accolades from the customers. Kudos to them for keeping up the spirit of our organization and setting the tone for rapid growth.
I am delighted to announce that Sushil Gujrathi has joined us as Chief Growth Officer at Comsense. Sushil comes with 20 years of experience across industries focussing largely on organizational transformations. He will be heading the Delivery Organization and will be a mentor to the BU Heads as well. I would like to extend a warm welcome to him and hope he has a fantastic journey ahead.
I am also happy to share that IBM held their Q3 APAC CEO council Meet recently where I was honored with an opportunity to be interviewed by Lata Singh, Director IBM Ecosystem. Apart from discussing the journey of Comsense, we discussed the future of Artificial Intelligence and Business Intelligence in terms of real value delivered to the customer. We focused on how AI can help businesses stand out, during these times of uncertainty. There were many takeaways that we would like to take forward to our clients in future.
Further, in line with our vision and growth mission that we shared in our last newsletter, Comsense organized multiple specialized hiring drives to provide opportunity to skilled individuals who wished to return to work. The drive had a special focus on single mothers, women wanting to return to work, entrepreneurs who could not achieve all their dreams, and sportsmen. I am happy to announce that we have some highly talented new people onboard with us, who are eager to make their mark in the industry.
Finally, I am glad to inform that our Intrapreneurship Development Program, which was launched in the previous quarter, has gained good momentum and every participant has taken up their roles with great fervor. With sound mentoring from the management and the freedom to run their Units, these budding leaders have already started delivering beyond expectations. I wish them much luck for their bright future.
